Gold treads water

Gold may Rise. Gold may fall. What's a trader to do? My crystal ball says with one hundred percent certainty that gold will do one of three things: Go up, go down, stay the same. My crystal ball is always right on these things, but its hard to make a buck off it. Traders are no doubt still in a quandary as gold continues to tread water. If times are tough due to the sub-prime issue, why then is Gold suffering? Is it not supposed to be the rock of stability in tough times?
