1991 FBI Background Report on Steve Jobs

Turns out that the FBI did a background check on Steve Jobs in 1991, when he was considered for an appointment on George H. W. Bush's President's Export Council. According to the report, there were concerns about Jobs' past drug use and his lack of support for his eldest child, who was born out of wed lock. Jobs died in October after a long fight with pancreatic cancer.
